What is needed to become a Pop Warner Cheer or Dance Coach?
New & Returning Coaches
1. Background Authorization Background Checks will be completed by the Orange Bengals Board of Directors. You will need to submit the 2017 Volunteer Application along with a copy of your current drivers license.
2. Pop Warner Volunteer Application
3. NYSCA or Rutgers Safety Certified
You must have a NYSCA membership that is valid for the duration of the entire season or be Rutgers Safety Certified (A copy of either one must be handed into a Board Member)
4. YCADA PW101 Training
This is an online class required by everyone on a cheer/dance staff, this must be completed every two years.
When completing this online course you will receive a certificate. A certificate is required to be turned in to a Board Member.
5. Copy of Driver’s License
All coaches are required to provide a copy of their driver’s license.
